About the product
The Gemalto Ezio Mobile Suite secures banks’ financial services including banking applications and mobile wallets. It allows banks to protect not only mobile-based transactions but also those performed using other platforms – such as web or desktops and ATMs – for a user-friendly multi-channel experience, while staying compliant with the main international regulations. The Ezio Mobile Suite supports biometrics and allows customers to use fingerprint and facial recognition to authenticate all their transactions. The Ezio Mobile Suite solution benefits from Gemalto’s world-class cryptographic expertise and has been audited and certified by several banks and independent security institutions.
Ezio Mobile Protector
The first component of the Gemalto Ezio Mobile Suite is a Mobile Security SDK that integrates into any mobile financial application, allowing banks to implement multi-factor authentication – including PIN entry, OTP, fingerprint and face recognition – and transaction signing capabilities, as well as protect their application against malware attacks.
Ezio Mobile Secure Messenger
The second component of the Gemalto Ezio Mobile Suite is Ezio Mobile Secure Messenger. It secures non-mobile channel sessions using the mobile phone. It is a high-performance Out-of-Band platform that includes a messaging server and mobile SDK to send and receive messages such as authentication requests and transaction verifications. It enables the creation of a secure channel between the bank information/authentication systems and the mobile application.
